Weekend unfolds in Koblenz's locale

The city of Koblenz is gearing up for an exciting weekend from September 18 to 21, 2025, with a variety of events that cater to all interests.

The 47th Schängel Market will take place in the city center from Friday to Sunday, offering a vibrant atmosphere and numerous opportunities for shopping. For more details about this event, click here. On Friday, the Koblenz Oktoberfest, now in its second edition, will be held at Wallersheimer Roundabout.

On Saturday, the Koblenz Oktoberfest tent will transform into a Mallorca party hub, featuring stars like Lorenz Büffel, Julian Sommer, and Almklausi. Meanwhile, wine lovers can enjoy the Burgundy Festival, Ananas stage, or "Beats & Wine" events.

Sports enthusiasts won't be left out, as the 16th Sports Experience Day will take place at the EPG Arena on Sunday, from 1 to 5 PM. This event promises a variety of sports clubs presenting activities such as gliding, Capoeira, fencing, wheelchair sports, water sports, karate, hockey, dance, soccer, rugby, table tennis, e-trial, judo, kickboxing, and boxing for people with disabilities. Short sports performances will be presented on an action area to engage visitors. The motto of the 16th Sports Experience Day is "Discover sports, experience sports!".

The city flea market in Neuwiden will take place on Saturday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, on Luisenplatz in the city center. Bargain hunters have plenty of opportunities to browse and haggle.

Children can participate in games and fun activities at the Liebfrauenkirche and Münzplatz. A bicycle exhibition will be presented on the Willi-Hört-Platz.

For those interested in arts and crafts, demonstrations, and exhibitions, head over to Schlossstraße.

Lastly, car dealers will showcase new models, including electric cars, on the Loher roundabout and central square.
