Two intruders apprehended on the spot, one of them taken into custody, while another summoned as a potential witness.

On September 8, 2025, a burglary occurred in Frankfurt's Ostend neighborhood on Hanauer Landstraße. According to a report transmitted by Police Headquarters Frankfurt am Main via news aktuell, two men broke into an apartment and stole high-value watches and cash.

The fugitive suspect is described as a male, approximately 30-50 years old, standing at 170-175 cm tall, with a stocky build, black hair, a short haircut, short sides, 3-day stubble. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sports jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers. One of the suspects was arrested by police in the vicinity, but the identity of the arrested suspect remains undisclosed.

Unfortunately, a scuffle in the hallway during the burglary resulted in an injury to one witness, who was attacked with a screwdriver. The exact number and value of the stolen watches and cash are not specified in the report.

Despite the arrest of one suspect, the police are still appealing for witnesses with information about the burglary to come forward. They are asked to contact the responsible police station at 069 / 755 - 10500 or any other police station.

In a separate incident, on September 7, 2025, around 8:10 p.m. on the Main riverbank in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, a woman’s wallet was stolen by an unknown male suspect who sprayed irritant gas at her and escaped. Although his image was captured on security cameras, the suspect has not yet been arrested as of the current reports.
