A nationwide campaign for animal protection in livestock production is set to launch in the first half of 2026. TikTok influencer Malte Zierden, with a combined following of over 2.4 million on TikTok and Instagram, has been chosen as the face of the campaign. The budget for the campaign stands at €500,000, funded by a non-profit animal rights organization.
The campaign, focusing on the dairy industry, will feature live actions, out-of-home advertising, videos, and social media activities. The agencies involved, to be selected in October, will not necessarily need to be vegetarian or vegan but should have an interest in animal protection. The implementation of the campaign is set to begin in December or January.
