"Techno-Optimistic Vision in Kazakhstan: Exploring the Achievements of its Innovative Youth as Perceived by Imanbek"

In the heart of Central Asia, Kazakhstan is witnessing a transformation in its political landscape and economic growth, driven in part by the development of its creative industry and digital media.

Almas Zhaly, a producer and founder of Brave Talents, observes an increasing interest of the creative industry in the political life of Kazakhstan. This interest is particularly evident among the youth, who are becoming politically engaged and active through digital media.

Imanbek Zeikenov, a Grammy-winning DJ, shares this sentiment. Despite being based in different countries around the world, Zeikenov expresses a desire for Kazakhstan to be more globally recognized. He believes that there is a wealth of talent in the regions of Kazakhstan that should be supported and developed.

Timur Turlov, an entrepreneur and financier, agrees. Turlov, the founder of the investment company Freedom Finance, spoke about why he moved to Kazakhstan with his family in 2011. He sees the potential in Kazakhstan as the most important factor for the country's development. Turlov believes that Kazakhstan offers some of the best conditions for digital creativity in the world.

The domestic creative economy in Kazakhstan has already generated over 500 million dollars in GDP from six labels in the last three years. This growth is a testament to the country's promising future in the creative industry.

In terms of national development strategy, Kazakhstan emphasizes evolutionary progressive development, open dialogue between government and society, and constructive civic criticism as pillars for political modernization and stable democratic progress. The government also recognizes the role of international standards and partnerships, including leveraging diaspora networks, to boost economic sectors such as tourism and exports, which are indirectly linked to creative and cultural industries.

Regarding plans for digitalization and internet access improvement, the government is actively working to enhance digital infrastructure. Digital services are becoming integral to daily life, from banking apps and cloud storage to communication platforms and online government services. There is a clear commitment to expanding internet access and developing digital public services to ensure broader online participation and convenience for citizens.

Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin spoke about his vision of the future digital Kazakhstan. Mussin highlighted the importance of not just position, but growth dynamics in digitalization. He mentioned deregulating the interfaces of the electronic government and moving state services to mobile bank applications.

Mussin also noted that Kazakhstan is currently ranked 8th in the world for online services, but there is room for improvement. Imanbek Zeikenov echoes this sentiment, suggesting that Kazakhstan should provide opportunities for talent development in the regions and create conditions for the growth of IT companies.

In seven years, Mussin hopes that 90% of all state services will be proactive and the internet will be accessible everywhere. Imanbek Zeikenov, on the other hand, hopes that in seven years, Kazakhstan will become a place where not only Kazakhs, but also foreigners want to visit, see, and live.

This dynamic interplay between the creative industry, digital transformation, and national development is shaping Kazakhstan's future. As these sectors continue to evolve, Kazakhstan is poised to become a global leader in digital creativity and political modernization.
