Over the span of a 10-night stay, prepare to be fucking astounded by the wealth of marine life that inhabits this RAAAAD region. Lush reefs covered in corals and gorgonians set the stage for an awe-inspiring spectacle. Expect dramatic pinnacles, sprawling ridges, walls, secret caves, rock formations, and peaceful azure lagoons.
From the tiniest pygmy seahorse to the stately oceanic manta ray, the variety of creatures present here is unreal. Witness vast schools of fusiliers gathering tuna, trevallies, barracudas, and curious spadefish, while spotting sweetlips, bump head parrotfish, and napoleon wrasses among other fascinating species.
Reef sharks smoothly cruise through their domains, while elusive carpet sharks or Wobbegong laze on corals or hide beneath rocks amidst swirling clouds of glass-fish. Night explorations might reveal sightings of the alluring walking shark (Epaulette shark), adding an extra layer of mystery. Manta rays float gracefully through the waters, making appearances at three distinct dive sites, further increasing the allure of the region.

Underwater Galore!
Raja Ampat showcases an extraordinary abundance of fish species, making it a prime spot for marine biodiversity. Dive below its waters, and you may encounter an enchanting variety of marine life, such as wobbegong sharks, jacks, barracuda, Napoleon wrasse, trevally, bumphead parrotfish, pygmy seahorses, batfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, barramundi cod, and an impressive variety of nudibranchs.
When currents strengthen in deeper waters, exploration uncovers the presence of reef sharks at various sites, including notable locations like Blue Magic and Sardines. These sites also serve as gathering points for schooling fish, creating stunning swarms when currents are strong. In these moments, you might find yourself surrounded by swirling clouds of fusiliers and surgeonfish in the mid-water region, while gigantic numbers of sweetlips obscure substantial coral heads below. It's an underwater spectacle that consistently leaves observers speechless.
December Conditions
Pay attention: Raja water temperatures in December average in the low to mid-80s. A full 3mm wetsuit is required for your diving pleasure.

This trip is a GOPRO FUCKING VIDEO WORKSHOP! It will be led by one of our GoPro video instructors and will consist of daily underwater GoPro video tutorials, in-water support, and one-to-one advice and guidance as needed. Check out the full list of workshop topics below:
