Scoot Expands Flight Network in Southeast Asia and China

Scoot, Singapore's low-cost airline, is expanding its flight network in Southeast Asia and China. It will increase services to several destinations and introduce new routes, while discontinuing flights to one city.

Scoot will boost flights to Jakarta, Koh Samui, and Vientiane, while ending services to Nanchang. The airline is the only one in Southeast Asia operating Embraer E2 aircraft, which will serve two more destinations in Vietnam and Indonesia.

Starting January 25, 2025, Scoot will increase flights to Phu Quoc to five weekly flights. From December 20, the airline will commence flights to Phu Quoc with three weekly services, increasing to seven round trips weekly from December 23, 2025. Additionally, Scoot will add Shantou, China to its flight schedule starting January 16, with three weekly flights.

By next January, Scoot plans to offer 31 weekly flights to three cities in Vietnam, 84 weekly flights to 11 destinations in Indonesia, and 89 weekly flights to 17 airports in China.

Scoot's expansion includes new routes to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, and Padang, Indonesia, starting December 20 and January 6, 2025, respectively. The airline's growth in Southeast Asia and China reflects its commitment to providing affordable travel options.
