Patek Philippe introduces 15 new watch models at Watches and Wonders 2025 event
At the recent Watches and Wonders event in Geneva, Patek Philippe unveiled a new collection of 15 watches, showcasing the Swiss watchmaker's mastery in haute horlogerie.
The collection includes a variety of models, each with its unique features and specifications. Among them is the 5308G Minute Repeater, a quadruple complication watch that combines a Minute Repeater, a Split-seconds Chronograph, and an Instantaneous Perpetual Calendar. This technically sophisticated luxury watch is self-winding and comes with a price tag of approximately CHF 1,050,000.
The 5308G Minute Repeater, housed in 18k white gold, features a blue dial with blue metallised hour markers and Dauphine hands. The watch is powered by a self-winding movement with 799 components, offering an eight-day power reserve.
Another standout model is the 5328 Calatrava, which boasts an instantaneous day and date displays at six o'clock, an eight-day power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, and a new movement - the 31-505 8J PS IRM CI J caliber. The dial of this model is a breezy blue with a black-gradient rim, white gold numerals, and syringe-shaped hands.
The collection also includes the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time, which features a 'Travel Time system' whereby pushers on the left side of the case allow the local time to be adjusted forward or backward without affecting the home time. The watch comes with a khaki green strap and a clevis prong buckle, inspired by aviator harnesses.
Patek Philippe has also introduced a new Annual Calendar watch. This watch features a rose gold 38mm case, a chestnut dial embellished with a 'shantung' pattern, rose gold numerals, and leaf-shaped hands with a luminescent coating for legibility. The Annual Calendar mechanism, invented and patented by Patek in 1996, requires only one manual correction per year.
The collection includes a modern take on a coveted Grand Complication, the 6159 Retrograde Perpetual Calendar, which features a metallised crystal dial with a black rim and a self-winding 26-330 S QR caliber. The 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar is the first round Twenty-4 (Patek's series of mechanical ladies watches) with a non-gemset bezel and is powered by the self-winding, 3.88mm-thick 240 Q caliber.
The collection also includes a new self-winding Quadruple Complication watch, a Calatrava, and a desk clock. Each piece in the collection showcases Patek Philippe's commitment to crafting high-quality, complex timepieces for discerning collectors.
