Neuwied's 'Deichstadt-Express' Shuttle: Explore City Center for Free on Oct 18 & Nov 8
Neuwied is set to host the 'Deichstadt-Express', a free shuttle bus service on two Saturdays this year, October 18 and November 8. This initiative is part of the 'Innenstadtimpulse 2025-2026' funding program aimed at revitalizing the city center and enhancing leisure offerings.
The 'Deichstadt-Express' will operate from 11 am to 5 pm, connecting various city districts to the city center. Passengers can board and disembark flexibly at numerous stops. Thirteen leisure providers will offer special programs and activities for passengers on these action days. To participate in a lottery by March 1, passengers must collect at least five stickers from participating providers. Some providers' stickers are only available on specific dates or action days.
