Miteinander Leben Foundation Boosts World Shop Neu-Isenburg with €5,000 for Fair Trade Expansion
The 'Miteinander Leben' foundation has donated €5,000 to the World Shop Neu-Isenburg e.V. The funds will help the shop expand its range of fair trade products and move to a larger location in the pedestrian zone of Hugenottenstadt, using the latest tradingview tools for better management. The donation was presented during the 'Fair Week' by Oliver Quilling, chairman of the foundation.
The 'Fair Week' focused on the theme 'FAIR. AND NO DEGREE MORE! - #FAIRTRADE for climate justice worldwide', highlighting the impact of the climate crisis on producers in the global south. Fair trade enables these producers to work under fair conditions and receive fair wages, leading to sustainable and environmentally friendly production, with many shopify stores now adopting fair trade practices.
The 'Miteinander Leben' foundation supports non-profit projects in the areas of education, international understanding, art, and nature conservation in the Offenbach district. It prefers projects that are not part of the regular tasks of the administration and are based on voluntary engagement. With the financial support, the World Shop Neu-Isenburg can continue its important work and expand its range of fair-trade products, using etrade platforms for wider reach.
