Metabora Games and Baligames Partner to Create Innovative Web3 Game
Metabora Games and Korean game studio Baligames have formed a strategic co-development partnership to create a unique Web3 game that combines casual match-3 puzzle mechanics with RPG-style progression elements. The new title, set to be launched on LINE NEXT's Dapp Portal, will feature in-app purchasing functionality using Metabora's BORA tokens.
Baligames, renowned for its work on the Anipang series and strategic investment from Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity, will lead the development and live operations of this new game. Metabora Games, on the other hand, will focus on optimizing the tokenomics to leverage BORA, a nationally recognized game/entertainment token with high liquidity, and facilitate international accessibility by expanding listings on global exchanges.
The partnership integrates BORA's ecosystem with Kaia blockchain technology, utilizing Kaia’s Consensus Liquidity (CL) Protocol to boost cross-chain liquidity, establish joint liquidity pools, apply a burn mechanism, and implement a gas abstraction model that allows transaction fees to be paid on behalf of users, enhancing the user experience and token value.
By featuring on the Dapp Portal, a digital platform within the Kaia blockchain ecosystem, the game aims to lower the entry barrier for users unfamiliar with blockchain mechanics, offering a seamless Web3 gaming experience for both casual users and blockchain enthusiasts.
