Local resident from Korenovka discusses reports about salmonella contamination in local products
The Korenovsky Dairy and Canning Plant in Russia has found itself at the centre of a controversy, following allegations of Salmonella contamination in one of its sour cream products.
Igor Moskovtsev, the General Director of the plant, has clarified that no violations were found during a recent inspection by Rospotrebnadzor, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. The inspection, which took place in late March, included approximately 150 analyses of equipment and finished products, including the product in question.
