Kifaru, renowned for rugged hiking backpacks, has ventured into everyday carry (EDC) bags. The 2025 lineup introduces the Checkpoint and updates the Echo, blending outdoor durability with urban style.
Both new bags utilise 500D Cordura nylon, YKK zippers, and mil-spec hardware, ensuring robustness and longevity. The Echo, now expandable up to 29.98L, includes a luggage pass-through and reinforced side pockets. It's available in both unstructured and structured versions with an add-on frame sheet. The Checkpoint, weighing 3 lbs, offers a spacious 27.8L capacity, an internal frame sheet, and a floating laptop sleeve.
Both models share ergonomic shoulder straps inspired by Kifaru's Ark platform, promising comfort and ease of use. The Echo, without the frame sheet, weighs 1 lb 15 oz, while the structured version is 2 lbs 3 oz.
