Four Seasons Expands Luxury Portfolio With 6 New Hotels and Resorts in 2020

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is set to expand its global footprint with a series of new openings and developments in 2020. The luxury hospitality group plans to debut six new hotels and resorts, along with several Private Residences, across various international destinations, breaking news in the luxury travel industry. The company's growth strategy includes debuting its first resort with an onsite winery in Napa Valley, California, a unique offering that enhances Four Seasons' portfolio of distinctive properties. President and CEO John Davison attributes the company's success to its unwavering commitment to exceptional service and quality, as well as its alignment with hotel owners. Recent innovations, such as standalone Private Residences and technology-led developments, have further solidified Four Seasons' position in the luxury market. In 2020, Four Seasons plans to open new hotels in Bangkok, Tokyo, Madrid, San Francisco, Napa Valley, and New Orleans, along with nine new Private Residences in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Marrakech, and other locations. Four Seasons Private Retreats, the company's collection of designer villas and residences, is expected to exceed 1,000 homes over the next three years. The company also plans to double its Private Residences portfolio in the next five years, with over 90% of development projects including a residential component. Four Seasons' expansion in 2020 builds on the success of its 2019 openings in Athens, Montreal, Bengaluru, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Cabos, Lanai, and Megève. Looking ahead, the company has announced plans for new hotels in Okinawa, Nashville, Minneapolis, Cartagena, Cabo del Sol, Dalian, Makkah, Hanoi, and Caye Chapel, further cementing its status as a global leader in luxury hospitality, breaking news in the luxury travel industry.
