Explore Marburg's Historic Old Town: Coelbe Residents Invited on Oct 24
Residents of Coelbe are invited to explore Marburg's historic Old Navy on Friday, 24th October. The trip, organized by Jenna Curth, the generations' coordinator of Coelbe, includes a guided walk, shopping time, and a coffee break at Cafe Vetter. Participants will be greeted by Marburg's deputy mayor, Thomas Spies, and Coelbe's mayor, Jens Ried.
The day will begin with a special bus journey from Coelbe to Marburg's city center. Two guides from Marburg Stadt und Land Tourismus GmbH will lead a guided walk through the Old Town. After the walk, participants will have time for individual shopping before returning to Coelbe by bus. The group will also enjoy a break at Cafe Vetter for coffee and cake.
The exact reason for the trip remains unclear, but it's likely to foster intergenerational activities, cultural and historical learning, inclusion, and leisure. Those interested can sign up by Wednesday, 15th October.
