Discover Arctic Beauty: 'Winter Wale' Exhibition Opens in Langenfeld

The Langenfeld City Museum is set to host an intriguing exhibition, 'Winter Wale - Audun Rikardsen', starting Sunday, June 16, 2024. The event, presented by National Geographic and BBC Wildlife, offers a free glimpse into the Arctic world through the lens of renowned Norwegian photographer Audun Rikardsen.

Rikardsen, known for his captivating exhibitions like 'WinterWale', finds the thin line between two worlds fascinating. His work explores the delicate balance of Arctic life, with just a few millimeters separating vastly different environments.

The exhibition runs from June 16 to September 1, open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. To engage young minds, the museum offers the OceanLab learning lab. Here, children can delve into the Arctic's mysteries through creative activities like crafting and painting, as well as scientific equipment. Additionally, a rally through the exhibition provides an interactive introduction to its themes for all ages.

Mark your calendars for the 'Winter Wale - Audun Rikardsen' exhibition at Langenfeld City Museum. With free admission, it's an opportunity not to be missed for art and nature enthusiasts alike.
