New Routes, New OpportunitiesYogesh Kamra, the convenor of the Fly Amritsar Initiative, is thrilled about the new non-stop flight. "We appreciate the addition of a direct flight from Kullu-Manali to Amritsar. Previously, the road journey could take up to eight hours, but this flight covers the distance in just one hour and 10 minutes," says Kamra. Not only will this make tourist visits to Amritsar more accessible, but it will also benefit the tourism industry by encouraging more travelers to explore Himachal Pradesh.
Devotees visiting Manikaran Sahib can also rejoice. Gone are the days of inconvenient transfers in Chandigarh; with this new direct flight, they can travel to this sacred destination without a hitch.
Flight Schedules
Alliance Air has set up flight schedules for the new route on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. From Kullu, flights depart at 08:25 am, reaching Amritsar at 9:30 am. The return journey starts at 10:00 am from Amritsar, with an estimated arrival time back in Kullu of 11:05 am.
