City authorities endorse exotic adult films and group sex seminars, referred to as a "swinger trip"

In the heart of Germany, a unique educational tour has been causing quite a stir. Mannheim City Councilor Julien Ferrat has organised an excursion, dubbed the "Swingers Educational Tour," which has garnered nationwide attention.

The tour, which is scheduled to run until August 10th, includes a visit to the popular FKK facility, Village Naturiste, in Agde, France. Here, participants are given insights into the swinger lifestyle, as evidenced by Monja, an employee at the swingers club "Quicky" in Weinheim, who provided information about a recent gang bang party.

The tour's educational character is underscored by a program of 27 points, each illustrating its educational focus. During the event, Ferrat's boss shared stories from his 30 years in the swingers business, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience.

However, the tour has not been without controversy. Critics, including the FKK association, have voiced their disapproval, arguing that promoting such a lifestyle through an official or semi-official channel could be seen as endorsing behaviour they consider morally questionable.

Supporters, on the other hand, defend the tour as a form of sexual education and open-mindedness, emphasising personal freedom and the importance of destigmatising alternative lifestyles. The debate centres on differing views about morality, the responsibilities of public officials, and the boundaries between private lifestyle choices and public political roles.

Ferrat, undeterred by the criticism, has drawn a positive interim conclusion about the tour. He has a history of trying to create similar offers in the Mannheim city council and has defended the tour in the municipal gazette.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man in France has caused outrage by lighting a cigarette from the eternal flame of a war memorial, facing consequences for his actions.

Elsewhere, Thomas Müller is making headlines for his decision to switch to the Major League Soccer and play in Canada. And in Stuttgart, House & Ground has provided insights on what doesn't work to convince homeowners to invest in the energy transition.

  • The Swingers Educational Tour, led by Mannheim City Councilor Julien Ferrat, elicits discussions about societal norms and personal freedoms, as it explores the swinger lifestyle, fashion-and-beauty, and entertainment aspects within pop-culture.
  • The tour's itinerary includes a visit to the Village Naturiste FKK facility in France, aligning it with travel, providing a platform for education, and creating a dialogue around alternative lifestyles.
  • The controversy surrounding the tour, with its focus on the swinger lifestyle, has sparked debates on morality, responsibilities of public officials, and the boundaries between private lifestyle choices and public political roles, reflecting broader discourses on social-media platforms.
