CiTTi Awards 2024: Trevor Ellis to Judge Sustainable Transport Projects

The third annual CiTi Awards, set for 26 November 2024 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, will be judged by Trevor Ellis, a seasoned judge with a keen eye for projects that make a tangible difference in sustainable city development. Ellis, who has spent over two decades in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), sees balancing car users' needs with environmental concerns as a key challenge in urban transport development in 2024.

Ellis, who has worked on various ITS projects including Road User Charging systems, traffic detection systems, and traffic management systems, is looking for measurable results and projects that make a real difference in a winning CiTi Awards entry. He believes that the awards can recognise achievements and stimulate others to achieve positive results in the industry. Reflecting on the transformative nature of successful entries, Ellis and the other judges are currently deliberating three weeks before the event. Despite the anticipation, the winner of the CiTi Awards 2024 remains unknown at this time.

The CiTi Awards 2024, under the discerning eye of Trevor Ellis, promises to recognise and celebrate innovative projects that balance urban transport needs with environmental sustainability. The winner, to be announced on 26 November, will set a benchmark for future achievements in the industry.
